The Church of Christ can be found throughout the world, but we have no earthly headquarters, and no national or world leaders. Each congregation has their own local leaders, ministering to the local congregation as well as our local communities, just as it was intended to be by the Lord Jesus Christ.

As our name implies, the congregation of God's people was instituted, and governed, by the Lord Jesus Christ himself.  Nowhere in the scriptures do we find the authority to appoint anyone as the head of the Lord's church on earth, that position is solely the position of Jesus Christ himself.

Rather, the Lord gave instruction for the organization of his church, and that was to include Elders, Deacons and ministers (where possible), all serving one another.

The local congregation here in the beautiful English, and world famous university city of OXFORD has been here since the mid 1960's. We are a small, but dedicated and committed group of Christians seeking to please God in all that we do. Please feel free to come along to any of our services. You will be made most welcome.
